We play using the Federation of International Touch (FIT) ruleset - the same as used at the tournaments we play in.
If you’re familiar with rugby, a lot of the play will look vaguely similar. The biggest differences are:
- No tackling. This is a spot of integrity so if you call touch we believe you made actually made it.
- Offsides - The entire defense moves 7m back from the spot of the touch. Yup, the WHOLE defense has to get back 7m.
- Dummy half. If you picked the ball up off the ground your only options are run or pass. If you’re touched or try to score it results in a turnover!
